Next, we shall look into White blood cells. These are the cells of the immune system that are involved in protecting the body against both infectious disease and foreign invaders.

Introducing 2 cells named B and T, they are derived from lymphocyte and these cells play a central role in the immune response.

The graphic below allows you to understand more on how immune system works on our body through 3 layers.

The 1st layer defense system belongs to the external layer, which includes skin, mucous membrane and nasal hair. The skin has thick layer of dead cells in the epidermis which provides a physical barrier.

The 2nd and 3rd layer defense system are the internal layer that occurs in the white blood cells. We have Macrophage (a type of White Blood Cells) that can identify and digest pathogens. It can be easily understand by imagine Macrophage as Pacman, tracing and hunting for pathogens.

While the 3rd layer defense, we focus on T cell and B cell. T cell as a police officer, who catch and destroy the infected cells, and then release a type of protein (PERFORIN). And B cell produces antibodies in "Y"shape, deactivated phatogen to move, reproduce or caused harm to body.
